Coastguard rescue officers and a crew from RNLI Hastings attended the incident at Hastings Country Park on the afternoon of Monday, September 29.
A Facebook post from HM Coastguard Bexhill at around 4pm yesterday said there had been a “significant rock fall on the cliffs,” and urged the public to stay away.

The post said: “We’re currently attending an incident in Hastings County Park where there’s been a significant rock fall on the cliffs.
“Please stay away, the cliff is very unstable and still collapsing from time to time.
“Please share with any Hastings groups you follow.”
Hastings Borough Council (HBC) said it was aware of the incident at Ecclesbourne Glen, urged the public to follow the coastguard’s advice, and said it would be monitoring the situation.
A spokesperson for HBC, which is now managing the incident, added: “Officers are in attendance to investigate and potentially construct a new fence to ensure public safety is maintained.
“We strongly advise anyone visiting Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve to follow the coastguard’s advice and stay away from this area.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.”
