Injury ruled Gillingham playmaker Bradley Dack out of the Bromley match on Saturday and a couple of others picked up knocks in the weekend clash.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth provided some detail about Dack’s injury but insists it’s “nothing major” as the club’s medical team were left dealing with issues for Ethan Coleman and Armani Little post-match. It was a bruising contest for the Gills, which ended 2-2.

Dack was there to watch from the sidelines, while Shad Ogie and Euan Williams were also in the stand as they look to get back involved soon after their own injuries.
Ainsworth, commenting on Dack’s absence, said: “His knee was playing up. He’s obviously known for his injuries back in his past career. What I’m doing with Bradley now is we’re making him this leader, mentor, future coach maybe. He’s taking that role on as much as he is a player.
“Bradley wanted to be there, wanted to be on the bench with the boys, but just had a little issue with the back of his knee. Nothing major. He had it last year. I’m sure he’ll be back for selection next week.
“It’s probably Ethan (Coleman) we have to look at now, and Armani (Little) took a big whack when he tried to shoot in the first half. There will be one or two bruises from that game, believe me.”
Jonny Williams missed the previous week’s game at Oldham but started at Bromley, as a replacement for Dack.
He showed his fighting spirit.
Ainsworth said: “He’s 5’6″ but he scraps and fights with the best of them.
“Jonny is definitely one of those guile players who can play a little bit.
“There was a fracas at the end. It’s part of football. We all love it. It’s good for the fans and the pantomime side of things.
“Jonny doesn’t like being disrespected. He doesn’t like people pushing him. He’ll stick up for himself. I’ll have Jonny all day.”
