The Seven Sisters walk in East Sussex saw a 57 per cent year-on-year rise in search interest, according to data from SportsShoes.com.
The famous walk is a 13-mile coastal hike between Seaford and Eastbourne which traverses the Seven Sisters cliffs.
The Seven Sisters, in second place overall, were only just behind the South West Coastal Path, which saw a 58 per cent increase in year-on-year searches.
The Seven Sisters has become particularly popular on social media, with TikTok users sharing videos of their coastal walks and Instagram users posting more than 419,000 photos using the related hashtag.
This online exposure is believed to have contributed to the rise in interest.
“But with popular routes becoming increasingly busy, it’s important to be properly prepared.
“That means planning your route in advance, starting early where possible, and wearing the right kit – including proper footwear and layered clothing.
“Even on a sunny day, conditions can change quickly, especially at higher elevations, so it’s never a good idea to head out in just a T-shirt and trainers.
“The right gear not only keeps you safe but also makes the experience far more enjoyable.”

The Seven Sisters is not only a highlight of the Sussex coastline but also a key section of the South Downs Way, offering sweeping views and a dramatic landscape.
The route connects to other popular destinations such as the Cuckmere Valley and Beachy Head.
SportsShoes.com used Google Keyword Planner to track searches for hike names, as well as combinations including “hike” and “walk.”
Hikers are advised to plan carefully and consider visiting during off-peak times to avoid crowds.
