Legendary ex-Kent all-rounder Darren Stevens steered St Lawrence & Highland Court to a 68-run Kent League Premier Division success against basement boys Holmesdale at home on Saturday.
Stevens, now 49, blasted 167 off 127 balls in an innings that included 19 fours and seven maximums.

He shared an 84-run stand alongside teenage all-rounder Olly Curtiss (56) – who had signed a month-long Kent rookie contract for the Metro Bank One-Day Cup the day before – and a 190-run partnership with skipper Matt Hammond, who offered 62.
Ollie Chaplin (2-60) and Callum Gallagher (2-79) among the wickets for the away team.
There were half-centuries for New Zealander Leo Carter (73), captain Anthony Bissett (61) and wicketkeeper Jamie Baird (54) but Josh Julian’s 4-54 left Holmesdale well short.
Second-placed Hayes sit 30 points behind Kent League Premier Division leaders Tunbridge Wells, having lost their top-three match at Bromley by six runs on Saturday.
Ryan Cartwright (33) top scored in the hosts’ 176 all out as Finnan Bryan (4-15) and opening bowler William MacVicar (3-38) claimed scalps for Hayes.

In reply, MacVicar top scored with 52 but Aditya Kumar (3-21) and Srithan Chanda (3-30) sparkled to leave Hayes dismissed in the 46th over.
The result leaves Bromley 10 points adrift of Hayes in the table.
Leaders Tunbridge Wells were seven-wicket home winners over Lordswood.
Captain Calum MacLeod’s unbeaten 84 inspired Lordswood to 173 all out in the 44th over, Matthew Luksich (4-32) best with the ball.
But Drew Beazleigh’s 50 not out got the hosts across the line inside the 37th over.

Minster saw off second-bottom Blackheath at home by seven wickets.
Opener Jahid Ahmed (44) top scored in the visitors’ 149 all out as spinner Haider Zaidi claimed figures of 4-22.

Sandwich Town were beaten by Bexley by 78 runs at home.

Skipper Matthew Stiddard’s unbeaten 95 led Bexley to 217-7 from their allocation while Sri Lankan overseas professional Roshan Jayatissa (2-34) and Alex Smith (2-46) took scalps.
In reply, Ryan Davies top scored with 38 but Fraser McWhinnie (4-25) and Louie James (3-37) skittled Sandwich inside 42 overs.
