The trio had big shoes to fill with Mariah headlining the Saturday night of the Pride on the Park festival.
But they more than rose to the challenge, with sharp vocal harmonies and slick choreography showing why they have lasted so long in the music business.
Their set included first single Overload, complete with chair choreography and a knowingly deadpan delivery, as well as Hole in the Head, In the Middle and Red Dress.
Flatline, a later single, and Ugly followed – with a contemporary twist coming from a cover of Lorde’s single What Was That.
Formed in 1998, the band is one of the UK’s most successful girl groups, winning a Brit Award for Best British Dance Act in 2003 and clocking up six number one singles.
The group is also known for its chameleon-like lineup, which has at times including Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen.
The band went on hiatus and has since reformed with its original bandmates: Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy.
