Leaders Tunbridge Wells made it six straight Kent League Premier Division wins at Minster on a rain-disrupted weekend.
Jaahid Ali (77) and Haider Zaidi (45) shared a 102-run partnership – the latter ran out by Kent’s Marcus O’Riordan – and helped Minster recover from 74-5 to post 220 all out.
Matthew Luksich and New Zealand overseas professional Danru Ferns claimed figures of 4-36 and 3-32, respectively, for the away team.
Harrison Masters (2-37) and Zaidi (2-40) claimed scalps but half-centuries by O’Riordan (63) and Sam Smith (58 not out) led Tunbridge Wells, some 29 points clear, to 223-6 in the 46th over.
Second-placed Hayes triumphed in a 20-over game at home to basement boys Holmesdale by 66 runs.
William MacVicar (48) steered the hosts to 163-8, with Ollie Chaplin (2-24) and Anthony Bissett (2-25) among the wickets.
Former big-hitting Kent player Alex Blake then returned figures of 3-8 as Holmesdale were skittled despite Nathan Khelawon’s run-a-ball 21.
Sandwich Town shot up to third in the table, having seen off St Lawrence & Highland Court at home by 62 runs.
Skipper Zack Fagg top scored with 37 in the hosts’ 148 all out while West Indian overseas professional Shermon Lewis (3-26) took wickets.
Set a revised target of 146 from 40 overs, Alex Smith and Sri Lankan overseas spinner Roshan Jayatissa returned figures of 3-21 and 3-28, respectively, to restrict St Lawrence to 83 all out in the 21st over.
Kent’s Jack Leaning (20) top scored for them.
Second-bottom Blackheath are only 13 points adrift of St Lawrence after they won a 20-over fixture against Bromley.
Opener Jahid Ahmed’s 35 off 21 balls inspired their 148-9 while Aditya Kumar (4-21) sparkled.
In reply, Oliver Butterfill struck an unbeaten 42 from 34 deliveries, although Tejpal Birdi (2-26) left Bromley 130-6 and shy of the target from their allocation.
Bexley’s scheduled game against Lordswood was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
