The West Sussex capital will be enshrined in the popular board game after beating out 19 other cathedral cities in the UK for its beauty, sense of family, and civic pride.
The official announcement will be made at 10am today by Winning Moves UK and Hasbro at Market Cross in East Street.

John Keen-Tomlinson from Winning Moves UK, which is producing the board game, said: “Chichester has ticked every box for us.
“We are sure we are going to be wonderfully spoilt for choice.”
The public will be asked to share their ideas on which Chichester landmarks they believe should be included on the board, with the likes of Boxgrove Priory and Goodwood House as options.
The public will then be invited to formally submit their votes on landmarks over a two-week period, until July 21.

The four train stations from the London Monopoly classic will be handed over to a ‘travel’ theme, and the Chance and Community Chest cards will be customised.
One card could send players back three spaces for “leaving your phone on during a performance of Hamlet at the Chichester Festival Theatre”.
Chichester residents can also put forward their ideas for Chance and Community Chest cards.
The board game will be available in shops next spring.
