Known as “Sissies By The Pool,” the event is being organised by the new LGBTQ+ events brand, Sissies, which is promoted by AEG Presents UK.
The pool party will transform the Grade II-listed lido into a space of “vibrant celebration”, organisers say, which includes drag performances, a “high-energy club atmosphere”, and cocktails.
The lido’s grounds will feature giant inflatables, and attendees will be able to enjoy panoramic views from the VIP balcony.
Nick McCluskey, Sissies founder and Gaydio presenter, said: “Sissies is about turning shame into celebration.
“We’ve reclaimed the word and made it a rallying cry – loud, proud and joyfully defiant.
“In a time where queer rights are under threat, we’re building safe spaces that feel like home.”
The event is set to attract a star-studded lineup with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Crystal headlining.
Guests can also look forward to a special DJ set by Alexis Knox.
Well known for her high-energy club sets across London and Ibiza, Alexis has collaborated with artists like Charli XCX, Miley Cyrus, and Little Mix.
Brighton’s popular queer collective Polyglamorous will also take part, in addition to several other queer DJs from across the country.
Notable names include Callie Crighton, Darkwah, UOKHUN, TeTe Bang, and FORBID.
Sissies had a brand launch party in February, called “Sissies In The House,” which featured appearances from Ali Bromley (Big Brother UK), Kabir Khurana (Made In Chelsea), Jordan Lee (Kiss FM), and James Barr (Hits Radio).
Organisers believe it will be the largest LGBTQ+ pool party in the UK.
