The Gills have been drawn against last season’s League 2 play-off winners AFC Wimbledon.

The League Cup draw took place on Thursday on the same day that the fixtures for the new season were released. The Gills will play Accrington Stanley away on the opening weekend.
First round Carabao Cup games take place on the week commencing August 11.
Gillingham’s group stage opponents in the EFL Trophy have also been revealed, with Fulham under-21s drawn along with Wycombe and Colchester.
