Spicerhaart appoints new Residential Lettings Sales Director

Spicerhaart has appointed Lee Ashley as its new residential lettings sales director.
In this newly created role, Ashley will be responsible for significantly growing the number of lettings agents across the business by a third, leading the Spicerhaart Partnership Programme, and supporting the onboarding of future acquisitions.
Ashley brings a wealth of experience to the position, joining from global property investment firm IP Global, where he served as COO. His track record also includes 15 years at Countrywide, where he managed various aspects of their lettings operations.
“Spicerhaart has really ambitious expansion plans and isn’t afraid to invest to make them happen. I’m excited about shaping the future of the business,” said Ashley. “Coming back to the high street model was also really attractive for me.”

Connells Group appoints two non-executive directors

Connells Group has appointed Andrew Bottomley and Ash Piranie as non-executive directors to further strengthen its board. They join Mark Lund, chairman of Connells Group, and bring deep expertise in finance, risk, transformation, and customer strategy.
Bottomley brings over 35 years of experience in financial services and 10 years in board-level roles. His background includes senior roles at Halifax and Lloyds with experience in estate agency, new homes and mortgages.
Formerly an executive director and CEO of Money at Skipton Building Society, Bottomley has a strong focus on customer-centric strategy, regulatory and operational risk, and leading structural and cultural transformation initiatives.

Ash Piranie has more than 20 years of experience in the UK financial services sector. He has recently stepped down from his role as CFO at Redwood Bank, and serves as a non-executive director and chair of the Risk Committee at Monument Bank and GB Bank.
