Camera club regular Joanna Kaczorowska took some beautiful photos of Halnaker.
This beautiful tunnel of trees is Mill Lane, located in Halnaker, a medieval hamlet near Chichester. This footpath formed part of an ancient track along Stane Street, a Roman road between Chichester and London.
People have been walking along this route for centuries and it’s due to that footfall and heavy carts being pulled along the road over hundreds of years that the road has sunk, creating a timeless, mystical looking tunnel.
Meanwhile, Suzi Sullivan snapped these stunning photos of Exmoor ponies in Ashdown Forest.
Exmoor Pony is a breed which originally came from the Exmoor area of moorland in north-east Devon and western Somerset.
The breed is well adapted to the climate conditions and poor grazing of the moor. Some still live there in a near-feral state, but most are in private ownership.
