Sir Brian May and his wife Anita Dobson were spotted at The Comet pub on Harley Shute Road, St Leonards, this afternoon (June 9).
Pub landlady, Sara Foley, shared an image on Facebook of herself and assistant manager, Tim Gadsden, posed with the rock legend.
They even managed to capture a shot of Anita behind the bar – a nod to her role as landlady Angie Watts in BBC soap Eastenders.

Sara described what it was like to meet the famous pair. She said: “Everyone in the pub had photos with them.
“They were so lovely.
“We even managed to get Anita behind the bar for a photo.”
(Image: The Comet) Landlady Sara told The Argus how she recently took over the pub after the sudden death of the previous landlord.
She said: “I joined The Comet in January where I was manager for the landlord, John Connolly. He died suddenly in March, where I then decided to keep the pub going.
“So, I took a lease for pub in April this year and we now run it as a Foley Inns ltd pub called The Comet.
“We are now trying to build the business up to keep John’s legacy alive.”
The pub serves a selection of food and drinks, as well as offering a range of entertainment including a pool table, jukebox and regular live music events.
