A returning Kent bowler is one of two the county have signed on loan to bolster their injury-hit attack.
Seamer Alfie Ogborne, 21, makes his Kent comeback after playing two matches last summer, in which he picked up two wickets in both fixtures.

Also joining Adam Hollioake’s squad on a two-match County Championship Division 2 loan from Somerset is former England Test bowler Jake Ball.
The 34-year-old moved to Somerset from Nottinghamshire in 2023 and has already spent time on loan at Durham in 2025.
In his only match for Durham, Ball picked up 5-47 in the first innings as the visitors wrapped up a bowler-dominated Division 1 contest within two days against Worcestershire.
Ball spent 15 years at home county Nottinghamshire where he took 423 wickets. He’s played 24 times for England across all formats, including in four Test matches.
He became the first England bowler to take five wickets on his 50-over debut against Bangladesh in Dhaka with figures of 5-51 in 2016.
The pair will be available for Kent’s County Championship Division 2 matches at Gloucestershire, from tomorrow, and Derbyshire as they continue to be without the sidelined Jas Singh (ankle), Matt Quinn (hamstring), all-rounder Joey Evison (side strain), George Garrett (rested), Ekansh Singh (side strain) and Joe Denly (arm).
Speaking after Kent’s heavy defeat to Glamorgan at Canterbury, Hollioake said: “Funds are tight and we don’t have an open cheque book.
“We have just got to work within those parameters. It’s a massive jigsaw, isn’t it?
“We’re hunting around, trying to see what bowlers are fit around the country to see if we can bring one in.”
But Kent’s 13-man squad to play in Bristol does include fast bowler Nathan Gilchrist – back from being under the club’s concussion protocol – and Jaydn Denly.
All-rounder Denly, 19, is back in contention, having struck a century for Whitstable 1sts in the Kent League Championship last weekend after his return from illness.
Kent squad: Bell-Drummond, Ball, Benjamin, Compton, Jaydn Denly, Finch, Gilchrist, Ali, Leaning, Muyeye, Ogborne, Parkinson, Stewart.
