Officers are concerned for Amelia’s welfare
Police are appealing for help to find a 17-year-old girl who has been missing for a week. Amelia Swansbury, from Newport, was last seen in the Baneswell area of the city at around 9pm on Saturday, May 3.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said officers are concerned for her welfare. They added: “Amelia is described as being around 5ft3inches tall, of slim build with long dark hair and a tanned complexion. She is believed to have links to Newport city centre, Caerleon and Cardiff.”
Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact Gwent police by calling 101 and quoting the log number 2500134724. Amelia is also urged to get in contact with the force to confirm she is safe and well.
