Michael Fry entered not guilty pleas to eight charges against the same victim.
The adult male victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police he was drugged and attacked by Mr Fry last month in Brighton.
Mr Fry appeared at the Crown Court in Brighton today (May 8) where he denied two counts of rape, two counts of administering a substance with intent, causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, ABH and blackmail.

On April 5, the victim contacted police and is currently receiving support from specially-trained officers.
The alleged offences took place at Fry’s address in New England Street, Brighton, between April 2-5.
Mr Fry was remanded in custody and will appear in court again in October.
