Yesterday (May 1), voters across Dartford went to the polls to choose their next county councillors.
Ryan Andrew Waters was declared the winner after today’s (May 2) count, replacing Penny Cole, who previously represented the division for the Conservatives.
The total number of votes for Dartford East was 3,649, with Waters winning 1,591 votes.
Ballots were verified from 10am today, with counting beginning around 11.30am at Dartford Civic Centre.
Polling stations were open from 7am until 10pm yesterday.
This result means the Conservatives have lost their seat in Dartford East, with Reform UK now set to represent the division.
