A large emergency response is underway after reports of a missing swimmer in the Channel.
The HM Coastguard helicopter, police and two lifeboats are at the scene in Dover.
The operation has been going on for about two hours.
A witness told KentOnline: “It’s for a missing swimmer reported missing in Dover Harbour.
“Dover Lifeboat and Walmer Lifeboat, plus the coastguard helicopter, are here.
“It’s an ongoing search, and the helicopter has now gone to refuel in Lydd.”
Videos show the aircraft hovering over the harbour, as boats search the water’s surface.
