James Morrison and Drew Zendra join United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty

James Morrison and Drew Zendra, who both previously worked on the same desk at Savills, have joined United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty in South West London.

James Morrison started his estate agency career in 1993. He opened a Savills branch in Wimbledon Village. He was regularly one of the top fee earners and generated record revenue for the company during his tenure as head of office.

Morrison said: “I am passionate about this area and the people who live here. The brokerage model allows me to provide the best possible service to my clients and buyers.”

Zendra has 14 years of experience in prime property markets, with of of those years spent working at Savills.

He said “My colleagues and I live and breathe these neighbourhoods. I’m based in Wimbledon and have two young children starting in the local school system. Word-of-mouth recommendations are the backbone of our business. Joining a new team at an established brokerage, I look forward to leveraging and growing my connections.”

 

Uber’s Bobby Morris joins Upstix as director of operations

Bobby Morris has joined as Upstix as director of operations, responsible for scaling the company’s purchase and resale processes through continued use of AI. He will also lead several strategic projects at the firm, designed to attract more customers.

Morris joins Upstix after 10 years at Uber, most recently as general manager of Uber Eats in London. Before that, he held roles across Uber’s UK business, in the Mobility (Uber) and Delivery (Uber Eats) lines of business, across both operational and commercial roles.

Spicerhaart promotes Chantel Hutchison to IT operations manager

Spicerhaart has promoted Chantel Hutchison to the role of IT Operations Manager, in recognition of her significant contributions to enhancing IT service delivery across the company.

Hutchison first joined Spicerhaart in 2005 when she was recruited for a newly developed role within the company’s Buzz contact centre. Initially a legal operative responsible for building and leading a team of legal inbound sales operatives, she was soon promoted to legal team leader.

In 2011, she transitioned to IT when she assumed the role of communications manager, overseeing telecommunications across the entire business.

Hutchinson commented: “Learning about an entirely new side of the business, not to mention a new area of work, was challenging, but that’s what drives me – I thrive on opportunities to develop new expertise and take on new responsibilities.”
