Brooklands Lake shut at around 7am this morning (April 28) as police continue to search for Wayne Parchment.

He is described by police as mixed race, around 6ft, bald with a grey, short beard and moustache.
He may be wearing a pair of black jogging bottoms, a grey top, dark blue jacket and black shoes.
Officers say Wayne often wears a lanyard around his neck with two keys attached and is likely to be on foot and may also appear to walk with a shuffle.
On April 15, police reissued an appeal asking residents living near Central Park and Brooklands Lake to check their gardens, sheds and garages for any sign of Wayne.
He frequents areas in Dartford, which also include Lowfield Street and Princes Road.
It is unknown when the lake will reopen as it is expected to stay closed until further notice.
Anyone with information on Wayne’s whereabouts should call 999, quoting reference 12-0856.
