Sussex children with complex disabilities raise money for school

The youngsters at Chailey Heritage Foundation, who are all wheelchair users, launched a fundraising initiative called ‘Hanbury Gives Back.’

They took part in a triathlon, showcasing their skills in walking, triking, or using an Innowalk, swimming, and powered mobility.

By the end of the challenge, the board was full, and funds were raised through their JustGiving page.

“It was so moving to hear that the pupils wanted to do something to support the charity, and we are very grateful to each and every one of them.

“They all worked incredibly hard and it’s a great example of the wonderful spirit that exists at Chailey Heritage.

“The young people and our fantastic colleagues make it a very special charity.”
