The white Ford Transit was found alight at around 4.45am on Friday, April 18 on Langcraigs Drive in Paisley

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Services attended and quickly extinguished the blaze. 

Police are now appealing for anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

Detective Constable Victoria Thornburn of Paisley Station said: “The van was extensively damage but thankfully no reports of any injuries.

“I am appealing to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area to contact us.

“I would ask residents who have doorbell footage to review it and the same with motorists with dash-cam footage, you may have captured something that can assist our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0461 of April 18.
