Empty town centre shops – once filled by Dorothy Perkins and Clintons – are now up for sale for £650,000.

The two units in Biggin Street, Dover, have hit the market as one site, and are being listed with commercial agents Whozoo on Rightmove.

Together, they span more than 10,000 sq ft, with the site including two self-contained shop units across three levels – lower ground, ground, and first floor.

The double-fronted unit at numbers 40–41 was previously occupied by fashion retailer Dorothy Perkins before the brand exited the high street.

Meanwhile, number 38, arranged solely on the ground floor and measuring around 2,000 sq ft, was once home to Clintons card shop.

While both units include sales areas on the ground and part of the first floors, the remainder of the upper level and the entire lower ground floor are designated for storage and ancillary use.

In February this year, KentOnline reporter Sam Lennon counted 13 empty business premises in Dover’s Biggin Street and Cannon Street.
