Passengers are facing disruption on a rail service after an object was thrown on the tracks.
There are no trains running from Margate to Faversham after the incident at Westgate-On-Sea station caused the power supply to fail.

Delays are expected until 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for Southeastern said: “Network Rail response staff are on site and will remove the object, assess the damage to the rail and restore power”.
“Failure of electricity supply was caused by an object being thrown on the track.
“Response staff will switch power back on to allow trains to clear the area at a reduced speed.
“They will then inspect track for any damage that may need to be fixed.”
In the meantime, replacement buses are on-site at the affected stations.
The rail operator and police have been approached for further information.
