Emergency crews, including firefighters and police, raced to New Albion Street Industrial Estate just off Halley Street in Yoker, at around 2.10pm on Sunday, April 13.
We reported how cops said they were made aware of a fire at the industrial estate in the area.
The force confirmed officers are currently in attendance at the incident to assist the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) with local road closures.

Meanwhile, the SFRS said they have sent eight fire trucks to the scene to battle the inferno.
At the moment, it is unclear what is on fire or if anyone has been injured during it.
In an image shared with the Glasgow Times, a thick plume of smoke can be seen billowing over the industrial estate amid the blaze.

Amid the blaze, residents in the area have also taken to social media to claim emergency crews ‘aren’t letting anyone in or out’ of the area at the moment.
They said: “They aren’t letting anyone in or out.”
Meanwhile, another person wrote: “I live nearby and I was coughing my lungs up.
“Had to close all windows and trickle vents. Wonder how it happened, hope everyone is safe.”
A spokesperson for the SFRS said: “We were alerted to a fire at New Albion Industrial Estate in Yoker, Glasgow at 1.12pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
“Eight appliances are currently at the scene.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Around 2.10pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025, police were made aware of a fire at an industrial estate on Halley Street, Yoker, Glasgow.
“Officers are in attendance to assist the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service with local road closures.”
