The fast food chain’s classic and spicy Superstack Chicken sandwiches, which are priced at £6.99, take the brand’s popular burgers and combine them with hash browns.
Introducing the exciting offering, Dave Hoskins, Head of Food at Popeyes UK, said: “The Popeyes Hash Brown is a certified fan favourite, with almost a million flying out restaurant doors across the UK since the Breakfast menu launched in 2024.

“Now, fans can amp up the famous Popeyes Chicken Sandwich by ordering from the Superstack range.”
To see what all the fuss was about, I decided to give the items a try to render my verdict.
Here is my verdict on Popeyes’ brand new superstack Chicken Sandwiches inspired by a breakfast classic
Here is what I thought about the new Superstack Chicken Sandwiches in Popeyes restaurants across the UK.
Classic Superstack Chicken Sandwich
Classic Superstack Chicken Sandwich from Popeyes (Image: Andrew Smart/Newsquest) As someone who has never tried any of Popeyes’ chicken burgers, I have to say that the Classic Superstack Chicken Sandwich was a proper treat.
The chicken, which was tender in the middle and crispy on the outside, was wonderfully complemented by the sweet brioche bread and flavourful cheese.
The hash browns — the centerpiece of this brand new offering — were rather odd for me, especially as someone who is less fond of this popular breakfast item.
However, if you’re a lover of the beloved morning staple, you will have no problem at all with this excellent burger.

Spicy Superstack Chicken Sandwich

The item was much spicier than I was expecting, but I wasn’t complaining.
This added a lovely kick to the already delicious sandwich, making it my favourite of the tasty pair.
However, if you’ve got a low tolerance for nipiness, you may have some issues with the sandwich.
