Sharon Davidge, former office manager of the Hunters Knowle Bristol office, has successfully completed on the resale of the business to become the new franchisee.
Davidge has worked at Hunters Knowle Bristol, which is based on Wells Road in Knowle, for 14 years. She first started at the company as a trainee negotiator, gradually working her way up and studying to get her professional qualifications.
“Through sheer determination, long hours and a real love of the job, I’ve managed to get to where I am today, so hard work does pay off,” she said. “I’m incredibly happy to be the new owner.”
Davidge continued: “An opportunity first arose for me to take on the business six years ago, but the timing just wasn’t right at that time, and I had always slightly regretted my decision. When the opportunity came my way again, I was determined to make it happen. I felt more than ready for the challenge, and I’m now very excited and proud to be a Hunters franchisee.
“From our clients’ perspective, nothing will change for them. I look forward to providing everyone with the same levels of customer service that they’ve always enjoyed, and welcoming new clients who have heard about our excellent reputation. I am supported by an amazing team, which includes a broker, photographer and a fantastic part-time staff negotiator who will be full time in June. We have been extremely busy lately, completing on three times as many exchanges than normal in the race to beat the stamp duty deadline!
“With regards to the future, I am looking forward to continuing to grow our estate agency business, andexpanding further into the lettings market. It’s going to be a busy and interesting time, and I’m incredibly excited for this next chapter to begin.”
