Sussex Police are investigating following reports of a number of break-ins and attempted break-ins in Crawley Down between midnight and 5am on Saturday (March 22).
Officers believe at least two suspects were involved who are understood to be males wearing knee-length jackets.

“Enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspects and gather any available evidence,” a force spokesman said.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area to provide a visible deterrent and reassurance to the public, as well as house to house enquiries will be carried out.”
Police are encouraging people to consider methods to protect their homes from burglary.
This includes ensuring buildings are securely locked at night, installing visible CCTV systems, burglar alarms and lighting.
