Emergency services have descended upon a town centre tonight.
Bank Street in Ashford has been cordoned off, and at least two ambulances and two police cars have been called to the scene.


An air ambulance is also reported to have landed at a field behind nearby St Mary’s Primary School, opposite Eastern Avenue, at about 8.30pm.
Bank Street is off limits from Lesley’s Florist heading towards Lloyds Bank.
Several people have reported hearing sirens near Victoria Park and near Lidl supermarket in New Street.
One ambulance was also heard travelling along in the direction of William Harvey Hospital shortly after 9pm.
Emergency services have been contacted for more information.
