Loch Lomond Unplugged, which is designed to showcase talented and passionate buskers and singer/songwriters of all ages, will take place between May 24 and 25 between 10am until 5pm each day.
The festival hopes to launch artists whose dream is to be Scotland’s next big thing, and will even provide a £1000 cash prize, as well as the chance for performers to play in front of music industry experts.
The festival also promises to be a fun family event which will feature food and market vendors.
(Image: Image of Loch Lomond) Hosted by former radio host, Jim Gellatly, the festival will also feature sets from Ben Walker on the Saturday and Kyle Falconer from The View on Sunday.
Those who wish to take part in the festival line-up should send in a video of one of their performances no later than May 2.
The video will be viewed by music industry experts – including Jim and Kyle – and 16 finalists will be picked to perform at the festival on Saturday.
Then, through experts and a public online vote, the 16 will become eight.
The eight will then perform again on Sunday and the winner will be announced at the end of the festival.
