He told the court the woman had invited him to satisfy her as they flew from Doha to London and was awake throughout.
Jonathan Atkinson for the Crown asked him: “You repeatedly told police in your interview and the jury today that she had trapped you or led you into a trap.”
Mr Jassub said: “I said ‘trap’ because she invited me to satisfy her.
“Then she makes a complaint. Why, I don’t know. It’s a trap
Mr Atkinson asked him why a woman he had never met would make a false allegation against him.
“She’s lying because she was not sleeping,” the defendant said.
“I don’t know why she did it, I don’t know why.”
He denied being attracted to the woman, in her twenties.
The jury in Brighton watched as Mr Jassub, of Feltham, Hounslow acted out what he did on the flight using his own body.
He told the court the young woman started caressing his hand and he lost control.
“I lost control,” he said.
“Then I regret it.
“I should not ever have accepted the invitation.
“I lost control, I apologise, I apologise for that.”
Mr Atkinson asked the 66-year-old if he thought it was strange a woman of her age that he had never met was caressing you.
“Without anything being said, moments later you are putting your hand into her trousers,” the barrister asked.
“I don’t know, I don’t know how I lost control.
“I still think about it,” Mr Jassub said.
“How can I have lost my head?”
The 66-year-old, originally from Mozambique and speaking through a Portuguese interpreter, told the jury he regretted the incident.
Mr Atkinson told him: “When you say you regret it, you regret you got caught.”
“I was not caught,” he replied.
“She started everything.
“This was not the first trip I take.
“This is not the first time I sit next to different women from different races.
“I never did that.
“I never disrespected anyone.”
The woman said she tried to shove him off her before reporting the assault to cabin crew.
The woman told cabin crew Mr Jussab assaulted her after she fell asleep watching the film Grease.
The woman told cabin crew she had to force him off her with both hands.
Qatar Airways crew contacted police and Mr Jussab was kept onboard the flight and arrested after landing at Gatwick.
Mr Jussab said he did not know what was happening until he was arrested.
Momade Jussab, 66, denies assault by penetration and two sexual assaults on board the overnight flight last year.
The trial at Lewes Crown Court in Brighton continues.
