Sussex Police have warned of reports of men calling from withheld numbers who are attempting to scam the elderly.
The scammers are making victims believe they are involved in a financial investigation which leads them to hand over larger sums of money in either pounds or alternate currency.
Police are calling for anyone who recognises this behaviour, believes they have been targeted or knows someone who has been targeted, to get in touch.
They are looking for any information to assist in identifying the culprits.
