Bob Doris, Maryhill and Springburn MSP said the plan was “repugnant” and a “betrayal”.
He wrote: “This staggering decision marks the beginning of a new era of austerity under your party; making the inexplicable choice to harm the most vulnerable and push disabled people into poverty.
“The changes to Personal Independence Payment alone are predicted to impact one million people. This is morally repugnant, and a blatant betrayal of promises made to voters just last year.
Doris added: “Under Keir Starmer, poverty and inequality are rising and a return to austerity – which we were promised we’d never see – is now upon us.
“Scots are paying the price of a Labour government as the cost of energy, food and bills soar, while cuts hit millions of families.
“This isn’t the change that voters were promised – and people in Glasgow will not forgive you and your Labour colleagues for imposing worse cuts than the Tories.
“I urge you to change tact, stand up for Glasgow’s most vulnerable and vote against these cuts.”

Scottish Labour said it would remove barriers to work and told the SNP to fix waiting lists in the NHS.
A Scottish Labour spokesperson said: “Labour has always believed in the value of secure employment, and it is right that we remove the barriers that prevent people from being able to work.
“Those who can’t work will always be supported to live with dignity under Labour, but we will also work to provide opportunities to those who can.
“The SNP must step up and play its part by supporting employability services and fixing the devastating chaos in our NHS.
“It is a scandal that over 100,000 Scots have been stuck on an NHS waiting list for over a year and 1 in 10 young Scots are out of work due to long term illness.”
