Faversham Town kept the pressure on Southern Counties East Premier Division leaders VCD Athletic on Saturday.
Both teams posted comfortable home wins with just one points between them and seven games left to play.

Strike Ollie Freeman bagged a brace for VCD in their 4-0 triumph at home to Glebe. Late goals from substitutes Charlie Heatley and Liam Gillies wrapped up the points.
Rusthall extended their unbeaten run to 14 games, Kalani Barton’s goal enough to secure a 1-0 victory over Stansfeld.
Punjab United ran out 2-1 winners at home to bottom side Lydd, Roman Campbell’s penalty and Jack Hopkins proving enough despite Jerson Dos Santos’ equaliser.
Whitstable’s unbeaten league run extended to nine matches following another late winner at Erith & Belvedere. Harvey Smith’s goal two minutes from time was the difference between the teams.
Larkfield & New Hythe lost ground despite leading 2-0 and 3-1 against Holmesdale. The visitors scored twice in the last five minutes to run out 4-3 winners.
Harrison Carnegie and Matt Day put Larkfield in charge but Nathaniel Murray reduced the deficit before half-time.
