A man has been left with life-changing injuries following an attack with a metal bar and a knife during a violent burglary.
Emergency services were called shortly after 8.10pm on December 23, 2024, following reports of a group of people had broken into a property near Heath Road in Coxheath.

It is alleged the group assaulted two men inside the house with the weapons before stealing a watch and fleeing in two cars.
A man in his 40s suffered serious injuries to his head and arm and was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are described as life-changing.
Another man, also in his 40s, was treated for a serious head injury.
Officers attended the scene and seized a knife and a crowbar during a search of the area.

Following initial inquiries, eight men and two women were arrested between December 31, 2024, and March 3, 2025, in connection with the incident.
Six men have now been charged with aggravated burglary.
They include Keith Cranley, 41, Darren Adams, 27, and D’Quan Samuel, 25, all of Shipwrights Avenue, Chatham.
Ainsley Louis-Jean, 24, of Wiltshire Close, Chatham, Solomon Howard, 23, of Meresborough Road, Gillingham, and Tyresse Johnson, 23, of Challenger Close, Rainham, were also charged with the same offences.
All six suspects have been remanded in custody by magistrates ahead of future court hearings.
