West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended to reports of a house fire in Northcourt Road, Worthing on Thursday at 5.48pm.
The fire service have said that it dispatched four fire engines to the scene.
Upon arrival, the fire crews found a shed on fire, which had begun to spread to the house.

The crews then used high pressure hoses to bring the fire under control and to stop it from spreading across the house.
The fire service confirmed that crews left the scene at 7.06pm.
There were no reported injuries.
