Fire crews were called to Linnet Avenue at around 8.50pm after a silver Toyota RAV4 was set alight.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze and there were no reports of any injuries.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Detective Constable Jack McElwee said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who has private CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch.”
