Emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing on Goodhart Way in West Wickham around 8.12am today (February 17).
The first paramedic arrived within four minutes and treated a man in his 40s at the scene before he was taken to hospital “as a priority”.
His injuries have been assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have yet been made and enquiries are ongoing.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.12am today (17 February) to reports of a stabbing on Goodhart Way, West Wickham.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“Our first paramedic arrived on scene in approximately four minutes. We treated a patient and took them to hospital as a priority.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 08:13hrs on Monday, 17 February to reports of a stabbing at an address in Goodhart Way, West Wickham.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
“A man in his 40s was taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed non-life threatening. No arrests have yet been made. Enquires remain ongoing.”
