Traffic Scotland said one lane on the motorway’s eastbound carriage between Junctions 29 at 28 at Glasgow Airport is currently restricted following a two-vehicle crash.
Police are at the scene of the collision. Due to the incident, road users are being urged to approach the area with caution and expect longer travel times.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured during the incident, however, we have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
