Police stormed a flat and discovered 200 cannabis plants after concerns drugs were being grown there.
Officers were called to the drug farm in Ethelbert Terrace, Westgate-on-Sea, this afternoon, and could be seen going to and fro the property.

One person was arrested while the cannabis, cash and a mobile phone were seized.
A police spokesman said: “We were called on this afternoon following concerns cannabis was being grown at a flat in Ethelbert Terrace, Westgate-on-Sea.

“Officers attended and seized around 200 plants from the property, as well as cash and a mobile phone.
“A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being involved in drug supply and he remains in custody while inquiries continue.”
