A second huge fire has broken out in a town in the space of two days.
Crews were called to a car repair shop in Pier Avenue, Herne Bay, this morning.
In footage shared online, firefighters can be seen using a hose reel jet to douse the blaze at Chris Riches Ltd, a family-run business established in 1978.
A neighbour spotted the flames coming from the roof at about 5.20am and called 999.
By 8am, two fire engines remained at the scene but the fire was out. The extent of the damage is not yet known.
The emergency services have been contacted for more details.
It comes less than 36 hours after crews were called to Grand Drive, about a mile away, where a blaze tore through a home, leaving it completely destroyed.
Six fire engines and a height vehicle battled the blaze at 6.45pm on Friday evening as thick smoke billowed into the sky.
Residents watched in horror as the flames engulfed the property, with police and ambulance crews also in attendance.
Pictures showed the roof caved in and collapsing into the property, as well as charred and blackened windows.
Colin Manser, who lives in nearby Carlton Hill, was sitting in his garden when he first noticed an unusual glow in the distance on Friday.
As the blaze raged, authorities extended the cordon further down the road, blocking off access to the area.
Mr Manser went to check on a friend who lives nearby, but by the time he arrived, police had closed off the street.
The 39-year-old said: “The house is completely destroyed. It’s pretty much just a shell now.
“Everyone was outside their houses just in absolute shock because there was nothing anyone could do.”
It took crews more than eight hours to extinguish the blaze, which had been put out by 3am on Saturday.
Police assisted, alongside highways teams, while the fire service evacuated residents and worked to put out the flames.
Friday’s fire is not being treated as suspicious and the cause has not yet been determined.
The ambulance service confirmed a man was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
