Scottish Water has informed customers in areas of G20 Ruchill, G22 Lambhill and G62 Milngavie, that they may experience low water pressure or discoloured water between Tuesday, January 28 and Thursday, January 30.
This is because the company will be carrying out essential maintenance work as part of the Glasgow Resilience Project.

A spokesperson added: “If your water is brown, please allow your cold water kitchen tap to run gently at around half pressure.
“Please do not run any other taps, or use any water appliances in the property until this is running clear.
“Once this is running clear from the cold water kitchen tap, please follow the same process with any other taps experiencing discoloured water.
“If your water is cloudy, this is air trapped in the supply and will clear over the next 24-48 hours.”
