Police and ambulance crews were called to Polnoon Street in the East Renfrewshire village around 10am on Thursday, 16 January, 2025, after Daving Lang was struck by a car.
The 74-year-old man, who was on a bike, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he passed away on Tuesday, January 21.

Dozens have paid tribute to him online.
One person said: “So sad. Thoughts are with family and friends.”
