Services were delayed today, January 27, due to a landslide near the railway between Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport.
Disruption was expected to end today, although Southern is now reporting that delays will continue tomorrow, January 28, with repairs taking place overnight.
Passengers for the airport have been advised to allow 30 minutes extra for their journeys.
A live departure board can be found here.
A spokesman for Southern said: “In the morning and evening rush hours, there will be a slightly reduced service to and from Gatwick Airport.

“Gatwick Express services will not run. You can instead use alternative Southern services or Thameslink services from East Croydon, at no additional cost.
“If you’re heading to Gatwick Airport for a flight, plan to allow an extra 30 minutes for your journey.
“At the moment, it is uncertain how long the landslip will continue to disrupt services, but more information will follow tomorrow. Network Rail engineers will assess any damage to the infrastructure overnight.
“Landslips can happen for several reasons, including severe weather. Staff are working with Network Rail to ensure repairs at this landslip site are carried out as quickly and safely as possible.”
