The representative added: “As we are prioritising the collection of black and blue bins, we will be suspending the collection of burgundy food and garden bins during week commencing January 27.
“Unfortunately, we are also unable to collect any burgundy food and garden bins that were due to be collected on Friday, January 27 – please do not put out this bin as it will not be emptied.
“Aside from burgundy bins, we will be collecting all other bins in accordance with your normal collection schedule during week commencing 27 January.
“Please note that collections may be later than normal and we would ask residents to leave your bins out and we will get to them as soon as we can. Bins not being collected next week should be presented at their next due date.
“We appreciate your patience as we try to recover from the impact of Storm Eowyn.”
