A music icon says he enjoyed a “lovely meal” at one of Kent’s leading Italian restaurants.
Jools Holland was pictured alongside staff at Posillipo in Belvedere Road, Faversham.
Bosses at the restaurant wrote on Instagram yesterday: “Delighted to welcome back the talented Jools Holland to our establishment last night!
“It’s always a pleasure to have such an exceptional artist grace our tables. Here’s to good food and great company!”
Replying in the comments, Jools said: “Lovely dinner thanks.”
The restaurant also shared a similar picture of him at the venue two years ago, with the 66-year-old seemingly enjoying a night out at the Italian.
The business has a four-star rating on Tripadvisor, with more than 1,000 reviews left – the majority of which are overwhelmingly positive.
Jools is a familiar face in the county, owning a Manor House in Cooling near Rochester and regularly hosting his New Year’s Hootenanny at Maidstone Studios.
He shot to fame as a member of the band Squeeze but is best known nowadays for his appearances on TV.
‘Later… with Jools Holland’ has been a mainstay on BBC Two since 1992.
The Posillipo Faversham branch is one of three in Kent, with other sites in Canterbury and Broadstairs.
