Tonbridge AC’s James Kingston won his third Kent Cross-Country Championships title in a row on Saturday.
Kingston once again set the pace in the senior men’s race at Brands Hatch, winning in 38min18sec – just one second faster than in 2024.

Rebecca Weston took the senior women’s honours for Invicta East Kent in 31.21, one of two triumphs for the Canterbury-based club with Alex Dack this year’s under-20 men’s winner (19.52).
Eliza Nicholson claimed the under-20 women’s title (22.26) for Blackheath & Bromley, while clubmate Jed Starvis did likewise in the under-17 men’s category with 20.02. Sevenoaks’ Holly Diprose (23.38) made strides in the under-17 women’s class.

Medway & Maidstone were among this year’s winners, Freddie Gibson first back in the under-15 boys’ race (15.11), while Weald’s Sophie Richmond (16.41) was the leading under-15 girl.
Emery Aldridge (Blackheath & Bromley) and Guy Bowers (Paddock Wood AC) were classified joint first in the under-13 boys’ event – both clocking 10.39 – and Dartford Harriers’ Tyla Jade Thomas was quickest in the under-13 girls’ race (11.39).

Tonbridge won six and 12-to-score team prizes at senior men’s level, and also won the under-17 men’s four-to-score competition. Blackheath & Bromley’s senior women were three and six-to-score winners, and they triumphed, too, in the under-20 women’s three-to-score, under-15 boys’ four-to-score and under-13 boys’ four-to-score.
Cambridge Harriers topped the pile in the under-15 and under-13 girls’ three-to-score while Invicta East Kent won the under-20 men’s three-to-score. M&M took the under-17 women’s team award.
