Sussex parents welcome baby daughter on New Year’s day

Aurora White was born at 11.25am on January 1, weighing in at 8 pounds exactly.

She was born at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.

Proud parents Maddie and Joe, from Newhaven, are delighted at their new arrival.

“It’s the perfect way to start the new year”, Maddie said.

Aurora wasn’t the only Sussex baby to be born on a special day.

On Christmas day, Shane and Sarah welcomed their baby girl Seren Aurora Elizabeth Sheppard.
