A man was taken to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed in the chest.
It is reported the victim was attacked outside Baba Food and Wine, in Gillingham High Street, shortly after he had parked his car near the junction with Canterbury Street.
He was allegedly stabbed after getting out of the vehicle by an unknown suspect who was with a woman.
Police officers and paramedics attended and the man was taken to hospital with a chest injury. He has since been discharged.
A 17-year-old boy from Gillingham was arrested later that evening. He is currently bailed with conditions, pending further inquiries.
Detectives are now seeking witnesses to the incident which is said to have happened at around 8.40pm on Friday (December 27).
