The programme, Bringing in the Bells, will feature three pairs of Scottish stars reflecting on their favourite moments from 2024 and keeping viewers company as the new year begins.
Returning for a fourth consecutive year are broadcaster Jean Johansson and actor Grado from Two Doors Down who will reunite at Ayrshire’s Kennox House to discuss the past year and look forward to 2025.
Comedian Susie McCabe is set to make her debut on the show, teaming up with journalist and broadcaster Gordon Smart.
Joining them are STV presenters and friends, Sean Batty and Laura Boyd.
Lorraine Kelly will return to narrate the show, which will also feature an exclusive performance from Scottish pop duo, The Eves.
The show, filmed in some of Scotland’s most beautiful country homes, will see the stars discuss the best TV moments, sporting achievements, celebrity gossip, and light-hearted news stories of 2024, before counting down to midnight with viewers.
Sean Batty said: “It’s my favourite time of the year, mainly because I get to cosy up with my TV buddy, Laura, and we always have such a laugh.
“Let’s just say there’s plenty of material that doesn’t make the cut – usually thanks to Laura’s cheeky contributions.”
Laura Boyd added: “I love bringing in the bells with my good pal Sean.
“We live in neighbouring villages and can’t escape each other so it feels only fitting that we see in 2025 together.”
The pair also teased that viewers can look forward to revisiting some of the year’s biggest events, including the Oasis reunion and Trump’s comeback.
Bringing in the Bells will air on STV and STV Player from 11.30pm on Hogmanay.
