A pet owner has been left stunned after being reunited with her long-lost cat, 19 months after he disappeared.
Sarah Mosley, from Sturry near Canterbury, says she never expected to find beloved moggy Ted after he went missing in May 2023.

But the 13-year-old cat was found last week by a Good Samaritan close to his old home.
A picture was then posted on Facebook and Ted was taken to the vets as he was in a bad way.
It led to the heart-warming reunion between the pair.
“I can be happy now, but it was an incredible worry,” Sarah explained.
“He just disappeared. I think people were feeding him up the road and he never came home.
“Then I suppose he got ill and nobody really looked after him.
“It’s been a very emotional rollercoaster – having Ted is a real adventure.”

Despite the happy reunion, Ted’s chaotic time away has left Sarah in a predicament – with the pet now in dire need of treatment.
Having cancelled Ted’s pet insurance, Sarah has been left trying to raise cash via Gofundme to cover the £2,000 bills she’s been hit with weeks before Christmas.
Sarah said: “He’s not in a good way, he’s very thin. Ted’s normally about six and a half kilos and he’s three and a half kilos now.
“He’s tiny, like basically a skeleton of himself.
“He’s got a bad bone infection. They think at the moment it could be that or cancer so we’re hoping it’s just an infection.”
Ted has a history of disappearing – having previously spent six weeks living on an Ashford roundabout when he escaped from vets.
For now, he’s being watched carefully and is recuperating well at home.
